Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Strategic Account Manager, Partnerships to lead the growth and development of our partner ecosystem within the credit union space. This key leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive revenue, expand market reach, and create long-term value for our partners and their members.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth
- Drive predictable and sustainable revenue growth through strategic partnerships with key organizations serving the credit union industry.
- Partner Strategy Development
- Design and implement a strategic plan to identify, recruit, onboard, and nurture partnerships aligned with our mission and business objectives.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with credit unions, technology providers, and other industry stakeholders to foster trust and mutual success.
- Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify and engage with complementary ecosystem partners to enhance our product and service offerings, driving added value for credit union members.
- Performance Optimization
- Establish key performance metrics for partners, monitor outcomes, and implement continuous improvements to maximize success.
- Enablement and Support
- Develop comprehensive enablement programs, including training, marketing resources, and tools, to empower partners and drive shared growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, and customer success teams to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals.
Professional Characteristics
- Industry Experience: 3+ years of proven success in managing partnerships and ecosystems within the financial services or credit union industry, with a preference for exposure to fintech solutions.
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically to achieve growth objectives.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships at all levels.
- Analytical Insight: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance measurement.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of credit union operations, partner economics, and the financial technology landscape.
