Project Coordinator

Pure IT Credit Union Services is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team! Pure IT Credit Union Services (a CUSO) began as a partnership between a credit union and a group of technology services professionals who joined together to help move credit unions toward cost-effective, cutting-edge, and business-enabling technology.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about credit unions, technology, and building long-term relationships with credit union leaders. We do not sell widgets or tech products; we partner with credit union leaders on strategy and roadmaps for technology and security. 

The Project Coordinator's responsibilities include working closely with the PMO Office to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and project budgets. They perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling, risk management, administrative duties, maintaining project documentation, and handling financial queries. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills, as they frequently collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, vendors, and information.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
  • Communicate effectively and timely to all stakeholders.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Work with the Project team to eliminate blockers.
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
  • This is a remote position 
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA and/or similar Project Management software.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools.
  • SCRUM experience is a plus.
  • BSc in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
